Three years ago, this was just a dream. I’m Ali Alowa, the founder of Houston Smash Burgers. I grew up in America after being born in Saudi Arabia, and now I am proud to call Augsburg home. I spent years chasing the flavors and boldness of Houston — the real, juicy, crispy-edged smash burgers you can’t fake.
I started at McDonald’s, working my way from the grill to becoming a manager. But deep down, I knew I didn’t want to build someone else’s dream anymore — I was ready to build mine. That’s how Houston Smash Burgers was born.
